Client Project | krita (illustrations), affinity designer (graphic design, storyboarding), premiere pro
This subcontracted project involved creating five fully animated 5-minute videos in collaboration with 369 Ochre Studio, an architecture firm. The overarching theme, "Sponge City Kolkata," drew inspiration from the city's vibrant culture and the distinctive art style of renowned Indian painter Jamini Roy, reflected in the animations' visual aesthetics.
My role spanned Illustration, Animation, Sound, and Video Editing for four videos, while for the fifth, I focused on Sound and Video Editing. This project was a unique opportunity to merge artistic creativity with technical expertise, resulting in a series of culturally rich and engaging animations.
Scope involved storyboarding, Character Design, Style Development, Illustration, Animation, Sound Editing, Video Editing, Arranging for Voiceovers, Hiring and managing another team for one of the videos.
A Storyboard was prepared for every video and discussed before illustrating each scene.

A color palette true to Jaimini Roy's art was chosen for the 4 videos. Whereas a brighter color pallete was chosen for the children's video which was the 5th one.
