Ashtapushpani - Eight Flowers to the Infinite

An App Prototype

I started this project when Manoj Gadi, my Sanskrit teacher, sent me a Sanskrit verse that speaks about these 8 flowers and asked me if I could  illustrate it for a blog we both were working on.
The verse on the right means - "First, the flower of non-violence, the flower of sense control, the flower of compassion to all beings, the flower of forbearance being the most significant, the flower of meditation, the flower of penance and the flower of peace similarly. The flower of truth being the eighth flower, are dearest to God (Vishnu)."
In a world of materialism, where a relationship with God is only forged in places of worship, these are Eight Inner Flowers that one can offer instead. Further, after I finished creating the art series, I was unhappy with the limitations of social media for presenting them. Hence I used this opportunity to test  my figma skills.
